Gram, the new name of Palm

After HP Acquire Palm and changed his name to WebOS, Global Business Unit (GBU) under the company, Palm again changing. This time in the form of reincarnation brand name to "Gram".

The focus of the business is also changing from consumer devices to "software, user experience (UX), cloud, engineering, and partnering".

Palm to GramWebOS GBU is a business unit under the HP, but Gram will be made into a separate company, is wholly owned by HP but leaning seeking outside investment.

Still unclear what the product will be made by this company. About that, Martin, Chief of Staff of HP worried ordered the employees to shut up about the products that will be offered by Gram.

Palm was once a manufacturer of personal digital assistant devices (PDAs) are known through leading products such as the Palm Pilot and Palm Treo. WebOS is the operating system name of the device is made to replace an earlier version, Palm OS.

The company was acquired by HP in 2010. Mid-2011, HP stopping production of all webOS-based hardware devices, including smartphones and tablets

Sharp SH530 Sports 5" smartphone with Dual GSM

Sharp, launched a dual SIM phone, with the release of its latest smartphone for the Chinese market, Sharp SH530 Sports, comes with dimensions of 5-inch WVGA display (800 x 480 pixels).

KOUZIRO FT103 SmartDisplay, The largest-sized Android Tablet

Kauziro, a Japanese company, makes the touch screen measuring 21.5 inches. This is not a LCD TV, they call it a tablet, is a large Android tablet ever.

Samsung Galaxy Chat, the first Android 4.0 smartphone with full physical QWERTY keyboard feature


Again Samsung added line of mobile phone of Galaxy series with the release of Samsung Galaxy Chat who claimed to be the first Android 4.0 smartphone with full physical QWERTY keyboard feature. Market target of Samsung Galaxy Chat is for teens and social networking fans.

In addition to a physical keyboard portrait style, Samsung also added ChatOn messaging services at the Galaxy Chat. There are dedicated keys for launching ChatOn applications.

5 Google products are discontinued



Google as king of the internet does not guarantee the success of its products in the market, not least Google shut down some products. Here are 5 products that stop continuation by Google.

"Technology creates amazing opportunities to improve people's lives. But to make this, we should focus, if we do not have to end up doing too much and do not have a effect of which we stand for," Google said on his blog.

1. iGoogle
iGoogle is the home page for the web that can be customized. Released in 2005, the product is a combination of RSS reader and widget platform,

2. Google Video

Firefox OS, New mobile phone operating system from Mozilla

Competition on the operating system drive Mozilla develops new mobile operating system called Firefox OS. With the support of several large telecommunications companies, Firefox OS will challenge existing mobile OS currently like Android, Bada, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and iPhone iOS.
