Good news for users of the LG Optimus One. LG said that Froyo Android-based smartphone is expected to soon receive official updates Gingerbread or Android version 2.3 in late May 2011.
"Upgrade Optimus One to Android 2.3 is expected in late May and will be available in the Android Market. This information still may change and confirmation of upgrades still need to wait," the LG description.
As reported by ITProPortal, Android 2.3 brings a few changes. For example, increased processing speed until the capability of playing games more smoothly.
LG Optimus One itself is the LG mainstay in the middle class segment Android smartphone. Mobile phones with 3.2 inch screen, among others equipped with 600 MHz processor and 3-megapixel resolution camera.
